Ingredients
- 500g cottage cheese (paneer), cubed
- 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 tsp black pepper, crushed
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the tomato puree and cook until the ghee separates from the masala.
- Add the cubed cottage cheese, crushed black pepper, garam masala, and salt. Mix gently to coat the cottage cheese with the masala.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
