Black Raspberry Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups black raspberries
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, gently toss together the black raspberries, sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and lemon juice until the berries are coated.
  3. Line a 9-inch pie dish with one of the pie crusts. Pour the berry mixture into the crust and dot the top with pieces of butter.
  4. Place the second pie crust over the filling. Trim and crimp the edges, then cut a few slits in the top crust to vent steam.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Allow the pie to cool before serving.
