Blonde Ale

Ingredients
- 8 lbs Pale Malt
- 1 lb Crystal Malt
- 1 oz Cascade Hops
- 1 oz Saaz Hops
- 1 package Ale Yeast
- 5 oz Priming Sugar
- Water
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat 3 gallons of water to 160°F.
- Add the Pale Malt and Crystal Malt to the hot water and steep for 30 minutes.
- Remove the grains and bring the liquid to a boil.
- Add Cascade Hops and boil for 45 minutes.
- Add Saaz Hops and boil for an additional 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool the wort to 70°F.
- Transfer the wort to a fermenter and add the Ale Yeast.
- Seal the fermenter and let the beer ferment for 2 weeks.
- Add Priming Sugar to the beer and transfer to bottles or a keg.
- Let the beer carbonate for 2 weeks before enjoying.
