Bobby's Goulash

This is a hearty and comforting goulash recipe that has been passed down through generations in my family. It's a perfect dish for a cozy night in or to feed a crowd at a gathering.

Bobby's Goulash

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes. Stir in the paprika, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer the mixture for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the elbow macaroni and continue to simmer for an additional 30 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender.
  6. Adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve hot.
