Bogobe Bonanza

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sorghum flour
  • 6 cups water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup cooked spinach
  • 1 cup tomato and onion relish
  • 1 cup grilled chicken or beef

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. In a bowl, mix the sorghum flour with 2 cups of water to form a smooth paste.
  3. Gradually add the sorghum mixture to the boiling water, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the porridge thickens.
  5. Season with salt to taste.
  6. Serve the bogobe hot with sides of yogurt, cooked spinach, tomato and onion relish, and grilled chicken or beef.
