Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Gradually add the sorghum or maize flour to the boiling water, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer the mixture for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to a porridge-like consistency.
  4. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
