Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into cubes

  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until the onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in the paprika, caraway seeds, and bay leaves, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the potatoes, carrots, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Season with salt and pepper.
