Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into cubes
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 4 cups beef broth

Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium-high heat.
- Add the onions and garlic, and cook until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in the paprika, caraway seeds, and bay leaves, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the potatoes, carrots, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1.5-2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Adjust the seasoning if needed, and serve hot.
