Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup sparkling water
- Ajvar, for serving
- Flatbread or pita, for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Gradually add the sparkling water to the meat mixture, mixing until well combined and slightly sticky.
- Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape them into finger-length sausages, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Preheat a grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Grill the Ćevapi for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice char on the outside.
- Serve the grilled Ćevapi with ajvar and flatbread or pita.
