Ingredients

  • 1 bottle gourd, peeled and diced

  • 2 tomatoes, diced

  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add diced tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
  5. Add diced bottle gourd and salt. Mix well, cover, and cook until the bottle gourd is tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or bread.
