Bounty Beef Stir-Fry is a delicious and flavorful dish from Pitcairn Islands cuisine that is perfect for a quick and easy meal. This stir-fry is packed with tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a savory sauce that will satisfy your taste buds.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Steamed rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss to combine with the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Bounty Beef Stir-Fry over steamed rice.
