Bourbon Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
- Place the chicken pieces in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
