Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken pieces in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
