Bourekas Lasagna
Bourekas Lasagna is a delicious Israeli dish that combines the flakiness of bourekas with the heartiness of lasagna. This fusion dish is sure to be a hit at any gathering!
Ingredients
- 6 sheets of puff pastry
- 1 cup feta cheese
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the feta cheese, spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Place 3 sheets of puff pastry on the bottom of a greased baking dish, overlapping slightly.
- Spread half of the cheese and spinach mixture over the puff pastry.
- Top with the remaining 3 sheets of puff pastry.
- Spread the remaining cheese and spinach mixture over the top layer of puff pastry.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
