Brachiopod Bolognese

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground brachiopod meat
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, finely diced
  • 1 celery stalk, finely diced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed ancient tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup ancient red wine
  • 1/2 cup ancient beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons ancient olive oil

  • 1 pound ancient pasta, cooked al dente

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the ancient olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground brachiopod meat and cook until browned.

  3. Pour in the ancient red wine and simmer until reduced by half.
  4. Add the ancient tomatoes and beef broth. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
