Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken feet
- 3 slices ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions
- Wash the chicken feet and trim off any nails. Cut off the tip of each claw.
- Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the ginger, garlic, and green onions. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chicken feet to the pot and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water. Add the sugar, star anise, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 1.5-2 hours until the chicken feet are tender.
- Once the chicken feet are tender, uncover the pot and continue to simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Remove the star anise and cinnamon stick before serving.
