Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken feet
  • 3 tbsp black bean sauce
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 slices ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken feet and trim the nails. Cut each foot into two or three sections.
  2. Heat a wok over medium heat and add the black bean sauce. Stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the green onions, ginger, and garlic. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the chicken feet, soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, and salt. Stir well to coat the chicken feet with the sauce.
  5. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour, or until the chicken feet are tender.
  6. Uncover the wok and continue to cook until the sauce thickens.
  7. Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot.
