Ingredients
- 8 duck wings
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 slices ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 4 cups water
Instructions
- In a large pot, blanch the duck wings in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove and rinse under cold water, then drain.
- In the same pot, add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, green onions, and Shaoxing wine. Stir and bring to a boil.
- Add the blanched duck wings back into the pot. Pour in the water and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 1 hour, or until the duck wings are tender and the sauce has reduced.
- Serve the braised duck wings with steamed rice and enjoy!
