Braised Duck Wings with Soy Sauce (豆油炖鸭翅)

Ingredients

  • 8 duck wings
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 slices ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, blanch the duck wings in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove and rinse under cold water, then drain.
  2. In the same pot, add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, green onions, and Shaoxing wine. Stir and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the blanched duck wings back into the pot. Pour in the water and bring to a simmer.
  4. Cover and cook for 1 hour, or until the duck wings are tender and the sauce has reduced.
  5. Serve the braised duck wings with steamed rice and enjoy!
