Ingredients
- 500g eel, cut into pieces
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 slices of ginger
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Marinate the eel pieces with soy sauce and cooking wine for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan, then add ginger, garlic, and green onions. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the marinated eel pieces and sugar. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and simmer for 15 minutes until the eel is tender.
- Adjust the seasoning with soy sauce if needed.
- Serve the braised eel hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
