Ingredients
- 1 lb pork belly, cut into 1-inch cubes

- 1 star anise
- 2 cups water

Instructions

- Stir in the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, rice wine, brown sugar, and star anise. Cook for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour, or until the pork is tender.
- Remove the lid and continue to simmer for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
