Ingredients
- 4 pork trotters
- 1 cup soy sauce

- 1 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorns
- Water
Instructions
- Clean the pork trotters and cut them into pieces.
- In a large pot, combine soy sauce, sugar, ginger, scallions, Shaoxing wine, star anise, cinnamon stick, and Sichuan peppercorns.
- Add the pork trotter pieces to the pot and add enough water to cover the trotters.
- Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2 hours, or until the trotters are tender.
- Once the trotters are tender, remove them from the pot and transfer to a serving dish.
- Strain the braising liquid and pour it over the trotters.
