Ingredients
- 500g wild game meat, cubed
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add the wild game meat to the pot and brown on all sides.
- Stir in the paprika, caraway seeds, and marjoram, and cook for 1-2 minutes to toast the spices.
- Pour in the beef broth and add the bay leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring the goulash to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 1.5-2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
- Remove the bay leaves and adjust the seasoning if needed before serving.
