Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the tofu by cutting it into cubes and coating each piece with cornstarch.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar to make the sauce.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden and crispy on all sides.
- Push the tofu to one side of the skillet and add the garlic and ginger. Cook for a minute until fragrant.
- Pour the sauce over the tofu and toss to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
