Ingredients
- 1 large breadfruit, peeled and diced
- 300g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced ginger and garlic, and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add prawns and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove prawns from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add more oil if needed and stir-fry the breadfruit until golden and tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add sliced bell peppers and onion, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly softened.
- Return the prawns to the pan with the vegetables.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce and oyster sauce, then pour over the stir-fry. Stir well to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve the stir-fry hot, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
