Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked broad beans
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mash the cooked broad beans with a fork or potato masher.
  2. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, breadcrumbs, and chopped parsley to the mashed broad beans. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 burger patties and refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
  5. Assemble the burgers on the buns with lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
