Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked broad beans
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mash the cooked broad beans with a fork or potato masher.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, breadcrumbs, and chopped parsley to the mashed broad beans. Season with salt and pepper.
- Form the mixture into 4 burger patties and refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Assemble the burgers on the buns with lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
