Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, paprika, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Add the lamb cubes to the bowl and toss to coat the meat evenly with the spice mixture. Marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the brochettes for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the brochettes from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
