Ingredients
- 1 lb mixed Adriatic seafood (such as shrimp, mussels, and fish)

- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup fish or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes, fish or vegetable broth, white wine, bay leaf, and dried oregano to the pot. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Gently add the mixed seafood to the pot, and season with salt and pepper. Cover and let the stew simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through.
- Once the seafood is cooked, remove the bay leaf and discard. Taste the broth and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Serve the Brodetto di Pesce hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
