Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add the beef slices and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the onion slices and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Divide the cooked rice into bowls, top with the beef and onion mixture, and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
