Bulgogi Cheesesteak (불고기 치즈스테이크)
불고기 치즈스테이크 (Bulgogi Cheesesteak) is a delicious fusion dish that combines the flavors of traditional Korean bulgogi with the classic American cheesesteak.
Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin
- 1/2 cup bulgogi marinade
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the thinly sliced beef in bulgogi marinade for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Heat the remaining tablespoon of oil in the same skillet and sauté the sliced onion and bell peppers until they are tender.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Open the hoagie rolls and place them on a baking sheet. Fill each roll with the bulgogi mixture and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve the bulgogi cheesesteak hot and enjoy!
