Ingredients

  • 500g ground pork
  • 200g dried rice vermicelli noodles
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, sliced
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground pork over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the fish sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Cook the rice vermicelli noodles according to package instructions.
  6. To serve, divide the cooked noodles into bowls and ladle the pork broth over the top.
  7. Garnish with green onions and cilantro before serving.
