Buryat Dumpling Delicacy (Buryat: Бууза)

Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 20 dumpling wrappers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and water until well combined.
  2. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each dumpling wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold and pinch to seal the dumplings.
  4. Place the dumplings in a steamer basket and steam for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from the steamer and serve hot.
