Bush Tucker Fried Rice (草原炒饭)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add beaten eggs and scramble until cooked. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  3. In the same wok, add a little more oil if needed and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add diced chicken, carrots, and peas. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Add cooked rice to the wok and stir-fry with the chicken and vegetables.
  6. Drizzle soy sauce and oyster sauce over the rice. Stir to combine and evenly distribute the sauces.
