Bush's Chili

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the chili to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Adjust the seasoning to taste and serve hot.
