Ingredients
- 500g large prawns, deveined and shells removed
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Pat dry the prawns with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch and all-purpose flour. Coat the prawns in the flour mixture, then dip in beaten egg, and coat again with the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the prawns until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add condensed milk, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Add the fried prawns to the butter sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Transfer the butter prawns to a serving plate and serve hot.
