Ingredients
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup raisins
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and raisins to create the butter tart filling.
- Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wonton wrappers with water, then fold them in half to form triangles, pressing the edges to seal.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry the wontons in batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
