Cabbage and Bacon Stir-Fry (Kopūstų ir šoninės troškinys)

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 200g bacon, diced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
  4. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  5. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Return the crispy bacon to the skillet and stir to combine.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot.
