Ingredients
- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef

- 4 Bavarian dumplings

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and blanch them in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes until they are pliable. Remove and set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, eggs, bread crumbs, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll them up, tucking in the sides as you roll. Place the cabbage rolls seam side down in a large baking dish.
- Place the Bavarian dumplings in a pot of boiling water and cook according to the package instructions.
- Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the cabbage rolls and dot with butter. Pour the beef broth over the rolls.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
