Ingredients

  • 6 large red chili peppers
  • 200g firm tofu, crumbled
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chili peppers by cutting off the tops and removing the seeds and membranes.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the crumbled tofu, shallots, garlic, salt, sugar, ground coriander, and ground turmeric.
  3. Stuff the tofu mixture into the prepared chili peppers.
  4. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Carefully place the stuffed chili peppers in the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the peppers are tender and the filling is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the heat and serve hot.
