  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, rice vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch, ginger, salt, and black pepper to make the sweet and sour sauce. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  6. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the sweet and sour sauce.
