Ingredients
- 2 lbs fresh clams
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, soak the clams in cold water for 20 minutes to remove any sand or grit.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Turn the heat to high and add the clams to the pot. Pour in the white wine and cover with a lid. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the clams have opened.
- Remove the pot from the heat and discard any unopened clams. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the clams and season with salt and pepper.
