Ingredients
- 2 cans of tuna, drained
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/2 cup pitted green olives, chopped
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 sheets of store-bought pie crust dough
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the tuna, onion, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, hard-boiled eggs, olives, tomato sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the pie crust dough and cut it into circles using a round cutter.
- Place a spoonful of the tuna mixture onto each circle of dough.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and press the edges to seal.
- Place the empanadas on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
