Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Caribbean BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 24 dumpling wrappers
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, diced onion, minced garlic, Caribbean BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and ground ginger until well combined.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wrapper in half and press to seal.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the dumplings in the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the skillet, cover, and steam the dumplings for 8-10 minutes until the beef is cooked through.
