Caribbean BBQ Beef Dumplings are a delicious fusion of Caribbean and Chinese flavors, combining tender beef with aromatic spices and a tangy BBQ sauce, all wrapped in a delicate dumpling wrapper.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Caribbean BBQ sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 24 dumpling wrappers
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, diced onion, minced garlic, Caribbean BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and ground ginger until well combined.
- Place a small spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wrapper in half and press to seal.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the dumplings in the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- Pour 1/4 cup of water into the skillet, cover, and steam the dumplings for 8-10 minutes until the beef is cooked through.
