Caribbean Bbq Pork Dumplings
These Caribbean BBQ Pork Dumplings are a delicious fusion of Caribbean and Chinese flavors, perfect for a unique appetizer or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup Caribbean BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup bell peppers, finely diced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 20 round dumpling wrappers
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, Caribbean BBQ sauce, green onions, bell peppers, ginger, and garlic powder.
- Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the dumplings in half, and press the edges to seal.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the dumplings in the skillet and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.
- Pour 1/4 cup of water into the skillet and cover with a lid. Allow the dumplings to steam for 8-10 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through.
