Ingredients

  • 500g beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, salt, and pepper for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  4. In the same wok, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced onion, bell peppers, and julienned carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the cooked beef to the wok and toss everything together for another minute.
  7. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  8. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
