Ingredients

  • 2 cups grated cassava
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the grated cassava, chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add the all-purpose flour to the cassava mixture and mix until well combined.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Scoop spoonfuls of the cassava mixture and carefully drop them into the hot oil. Flatten the fritters with the back of the spoon.
  5. Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
