Ingredients
- 2 cups cassava flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the cassava flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add water gradually and mix until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease with vegetable oil.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan and spread it into a circle.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Heat over low heat until warm.
- Serve the cassava pancakes with the spiced syrup drizzled on top.
