Ingredients

  • 4 cups grated cassava
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the grated cassava, grated coconut, brown sugar, melted butter, coconut milk, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown and the pone is set.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool before slicing into squares or diamonds.
