Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped spring onions
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornstarch, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Add water gradually to make a smooth batter.
- Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the cauliflower florets until they are golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, heat a little more oil and sauté the chopped spring onions for a minute.
- Add the remaining batter mixture to the pan and stir well to make the Manchurian sauce.
- Add the fried cauliflower florets to the sauce and toss to coat them evenly.
- Garnish with more spring onions and serve hot.
