Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped spring onions
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornstarch, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili powder, black pepper, and salt to form a smooth batter.
- Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the battered cauliflower until crispy and golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the chopped spring onions for a minute.
- Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, and a splash of water to the pan to create the Manchurian sauce.
- Add the fried cauliflower to the sauce, toss to coat, and cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the cauliflower evenly.
- Garnish with additional spring onions and serve hot.
