Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornstarch, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili powder, black pepper, and salt with water to make a smooth batter.
  2. Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the battered cauliflower until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  4. In a separate pan, heat a little oil and sauté the green onions for a minute.
  5. Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, and a splash of water to the pan. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the fried cauliflower to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Garnish with more chopped green onions and serve hot.
