Ingredients
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Oil for frying
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornstarch, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili powder, black pepper, and salt with water to make a smooth batter.
- Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the battered cauliflower until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- In a separate pan, heat a little oil and sauté the green onions for a minute.
- Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, and a splash of water to the pan. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Add the fried cauliflower to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with more chopped green onions and serve hot.
