Ingredients

  • 4 large onions
  • 250g ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice

  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the onions and carefully remove the inner layers, leaving the outermost layers intact.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, cooked rice, diced red bell pepper, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the hollowed-out onions with the beef and rice mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed onions in a baking dish and pour the tomato sauce over them.
  6. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the onions.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
