Ingredients

  • 2 live crabs
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 small potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the live crabs and cook for 15 minutes. Remove the crabs and let them cool.
  2. Once the crabs are cool enough to handle, remove the top shell and clean out the insides. Cut the crabs into quarters.
  3. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add the sweet paprika and stir for a minute. Then add the crab pieces and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes in a separate pot with the coarse sea salt until tender. Drain and set aside.
  6. Arrange the crab pieces and boiled potatoes on a serving platter. Drizzle with the garlic and paprika-infused oil from the pan.
